About Elizabeth

 

After sustaining a spinal injury at the age of 18, Elizabeth’s journey to wellness led her to the study of Feldenkrais Method®. Determined to find new strategies for dealing with chronic pain and movement limitations, she now enjoys a complete recovery from her spinal injuries.


Elizabeth is a Guild Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner®.  Elizabeth completed training in the Feldenkrais Method of Awareness Through Movement® and Functional Integration® with some of Dr. Moshe Feldenkrais’ top trainers.

She has studied Movement Intelligence with Dr. Ruthy Alon and is a Certified Bones for Life® Trainer, Certified Solutions for Optimal Mobility® Trainer,  and Pioneer Walk for Life® teacher. 


Elizabeth is a Certified Art of Moving for Parkinson's Teacher.  Her Art of Moving Training was taught by John Argue.


 She has been teaching the Feldenkrais Method® to individuals and groups since 1986.

 Elizabeth is also a T’ai Chi Movement Instructor authorized to teach several Qi Gong techniques created by Grand Master Hong Liu. . She has taught Feldenkrais® and/or T’ai Chi Movement at Desert Botanical Garden, Paradise Valley Community College, the MS Society and the Muhammad Ali Parkinson Center. She maintains a private practice teaching Feldenkrais Functional Integration®. 


 In addition to her specialized certifications, Elizabeth holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish, Physical Education and Business.
